Born in Tasmania, after 30 years she decided a sea and career change was in order, Georgie a qualified dog trainer through NDTF and a huge passion for everything dog related, she stumbled across Down South Boarding Kennels for sale and didn’t hesitate to check it out. It was a no brainer this was the ideal place and career change for her and the dogs.
Leaving her full-time job in finance, she hit the road for her next adventure in the South West & wow is she so glad she did!
After 2 years the decision was made to expand the business by opening a Doggy Day care centre in Bunbury and provide a Pet Taxi service, this decision was made in the middle of COVID-19 when she thought all was going to be a loss, it was hard to decide on but is one she hasn’t looked back on.
Seeing the smiles on the dogs faces at the end of a day of fun and seeing them gain more confidence in a social environment is the most rewarding part of our job with all the slobbery kisses we get throughout everyday.
